Ms. Braziel graduated from Jenkins High School in 1969, Armstrong Atlantic State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1973 and a Masters in 1976, and graduated from John Marshal Law School in 1980. She has had the honor of serving the people of this community for over 35 years. Barbara has raised three children as a single mom. She knows what financial struggle is and wants to help you gain financial freedom to help you make today the first day of the rest of your life.

James B. Wessinger III

Professional Practice In private practice in Savannah, Georgia since 1991, initially concentrating in bankruptcy creditor representation and insurance defense. Beginning in 1997 transitioned to focusing on a bankruptcy practice including serving twelve years as a Chapter 7 Trustee. Practice is now limited to consumer bankruptcy representing debtors in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Georgia.

Jeanette Prewitt

Jeanette Prewitt worked for the Chapter 13 Trustee’s Office for 15 years and began working for Ms. Braziel’s office in September of 2005. She finds her greatest reward in knowing that clients leave the office with the feeling of financial relief. She is also working to become a certified Bankruptcy Assistant. Jeanette moved to Savannah in 1980. She is married with a daughter and 2 stepsons

Mary Pitts

Mary Pitts was born and raised in Savannah, Ga., and has worked in the legal field for over 20 years. Mary attended the Georgia Regional Police Academy, St. Leo’s College, and South College. Mary began working for Barbara Braziel‘s experienced team in 2008. She has found that bankruptcy law is challenging but by helping people on daily basis, it has been very rewarding. Our goal is to assist clients in attaining financial freedom. Working as an experienced team, we help clients set priorities and create balance to successfully meet this challenge. Mary is a resident of Tybee Island and has raised four children and has one beautiful granddaughter.

Jennifer Jackson

Jennifer Jackson was born in Savannah, GA and was raised in Effingham County. Jennifer has worked for a financial institution before coming to work for Barbara Braziel  in September 2016. She is very excited to begin assisting  Mrs. Braziel in helping people obtain financial freedom and peace of mind. Jennifer is married to Joseph and has 4 children Tyler, Taylor, Blakley and Maizie . She enjoys watching her children participate in sports. In her spare time she is always at the ball field.
